-
Authenticity
The quality of sanitary ware.
-
Budget, transportation, exotic in an old mansion.
No Elevator.
-
Central location, good bar, nice staff.
Our room was above the kitchen and the chatting woke us up 7am on Sunday morning :( music in the breakfast room could have been better.
-
Man behind the desk was fantastic, really friendly and helpful. Very clean
The four poster bed advertised in the pictures was nothing like the one we got - ours was a creaky metal framed thing! A few pots of milk out of date too
-
The luxurious four poster bed and the location. Will definitely use again.
Getting out of bed!!! Hehe

Liked the friendliness of the staff, they were very helpful in all questions asked. For something as close to the Edinburgh Castle, it was a good walking distance.
The breakfast left a lot to be desired for, especially at £7.50 per person. The place seemed to be a little run down and the décor/furnishings wouldn't go amiss for the 1970'S. The dining room was very dark I think, painted black which is less than inviting for breakfast.

The Ritz is a lovely old building with large rooms. It is very comfortable and we really liked having 2 armchairs in our room as well as plenty of wardrobe and drawer space.
-
The name, "staying at the Ritz" Big Rooms Good location for Haymarket
Parking is only free on Sundays.
-
Good location
* Advertised as having free parking - which it didn't we had to pay £10 daily for parking. * Advertised as breakfast included, however we weren't told that the cooked breakfast was at an extra charge until we came to check out. * Bed was highly uncomfortable * Room was cold * Hotel looked nothing like the pictures on your website * Continental breakfast was poor-minimal choice
-
The room was in need of repair and modernising
-
Easy access, friendly personnel
No full english breakfast (only continental), small room with high ceiling, bed a little bit "unscrewed" moving all the time, not easy to enter with door too close to the bed
